We here at neighborhood eats think it’s important to learn from your mistakes, but to help you out we rounded up some of the most common Halloween mistakes so that you don’t have to learn from experience. Here are the top ten (mostly food related) things you should NEVER do on Halloween:
10. Forget to check if your/your child’s candy has been tampered with.
9. Go trick or treating (or partying hopping) alone.
8. Let someone convince you that candy corn is anything but gross.
7. Go into a stranger’s house while Trick or Treating.
6. Give out lame treats like apples.
5. Wear an offensive costume.
4. Leave a drink unattended at a party (it’ll get real spooky real fast).
3. Be lame – Get out there and celebrate even if it’s just with discount candy the day after
2. Mix alcohol – ‘liquor before beer you’re in the clear, beer before liquor never been sicker.’
1. Drink on an empty stomach.
We hope that these tips will help you have a fun, safe, and ~spooky~ Halloween!
